5 Random Friday Finds

Find No. 1

It is good to try new restaurants and new foods when you are on a mini vacation. We discovered the lovely Little Traverse Inn, which is close by the condo we stay at, and tried these yummy appetizers.

Find No. 2

You just never know when a bolt is going to look really good in a photograph. This bolt was in an old wall behind a historic barn.

Find No. 3

I think our wine cellar is replenished after our trip to Northern Michigan Wine Country. This picture does not show the other case of wine that Glen put away already before I could get a picture.

Find No. 4

A metal foot bridge in the woods in Autumn is a most delightful thing.

Find No. 5

I LOVE my husband for being willing to take my extra camera and use it on our mini adventures when we were away for the weekend. It was so wonderful sharing that experience together, and loading both of our pictures at the end of the day. He has great promise as a macro photographer. I will post some of his photos soon.

I agree with you about the bolt. They say rust is a photographer's friend.

I love the fact that your dear man is so willing to go along with you on your photo adventures. Mine too...tho, it's birding that we do and my husband makes a great spotter. It's good to have such a thing in common. I look forward to seeing some of his photos...let me know when you post some, please.

That bridge with the Autumn foliage is stupendous.

Love the closeup of the bolt and it's great when your partner joins in, Mark is as keen as I am but his style is completely different to mine .

Wow Sarah, you are speaking to my heart on this post! We are Michigan vacationers and love Michigan Cherry Wine, and finding good restaurants! That bolt pictures is amazing! How fun your hubby now has your other camera. I did the same thing, but he decided he wanted a lighter weight one instead. Looking forward to his macro photos!

Well, it seems I read this on my iPad but haven't commented. A terrific group of '5'! But I'm most intrigued by #5. I can't get my husband to carry my extra camera and shoot for all the tea in China. Yet he always wants to tell me how to set up my shots. I just wish he'd do his own. :-D
