5 Random Friday Finds

I am joining Nancy for the first time this week at Random 5 Friday and joining Kim as always for Friday Finds.

Find No. 1

Even an ordinary scene can look like a vintage postcard with the right iPhone apps. This is a view of our Lighthouse "Big Red" taken from the top of a nearby sand dune, Mount Pisgah.

Find No. 2

My new Heart Rate Monitor works great, I guess. I went over my maximum heart rate a few times climbing the stairs at Mount Pisgah. My personal trainer says that is the time to stop and take a photograph, so these necessary breaks are now called Photo Breaks instead of rest breaks.

Find No. 3

I found these Thomas (brand) Pumpkin Spice English Muffins at the grocery store this week. I love everything pumpkin. I only bought one package to see if I liked them. I hope there are still some left next week, I am going to stock up my freezer. They are especially tasty with Pumpkin Butter on them.

Find No. 4

A cup of Pumpkin Spice Latte, enjoyed on the beach on a beautiful Autumn day is the best.

Find No. 5

Discovering some new hiking trails on my Creative Inspiration Friday and then going back there on Sunday with my husband was worth it's weight in gold.

Eating a lettuce wrapped Jimmy John's sandwich on a park bench over looking the channel on a windy day can be a bit challenging, but even Glen will agree it was a great "forced" picnic.

Great set of photos! I just went to the grocery store yesterday. I should have looked for pumpkin things to eat. I'll keep my eye out next week! Your Friday linkys look fun, I may have to try them with you! Have a nice weekend!

What a gorgeous view of your lighthouse! Very vintage-looking.

Fall is the best time for pumpkin-y treats. Thanks for sharing your randoms at R5F this week. xo

What a great list of finds! That app is marvelous. I'm an English muffin-lover, too, so I must look for those pumpkin muffins.

Pumpkin English muffins - hmmmmm - might have to look for that. I'm not sure the first photo is exactly "ordinary" even if it didn't have the cool app. Latte on the beach - yes please!

Love the heart monitor watch - nice. It seems these days just about everything is injected with pumpkin around this time of year. I have discovered that I like Carnation Pumpkin Spice creamer for my home latte. And this weekend is The Pumpkin Festival in the neighboring town - used to always get some pumpkin ice cream (cost of admission is too high to justify that now - so I'll probably find something comparable at the grocer).

Yay pumpkin! Pumpkin anything! And your vintage postcard looks like a wonderful old folk art painting.
