Find No. 1
Glen and I had lunch with his parents this past Sunday before their annual sojourn to Arizona for the winter. We had Chinese. The top fortune was the one I found in my fortune cookie and the bottom one was Glen's, I like them both.

I love hydrangeas at every stage and these are just lovely!
No hydrangeas left here. And not for the reasons you might thing. I went outside the other day and every.single.leaf was eaten off of my hydrangea bushes. Darn deer.
Love the processing on the tree shot! Needs to be framed! That pole is interesting. Looks like it's held many signs in it's life!! I'm looking forward to hearing the story, maybe in a coffee shop chronicle?
Oh love the last image it's wonderful...
Well that settles it... the fortune says you should write a book, so write a book you should. I am sure you have many great book ideas running through your mind. :) Gravel roads always seem adventurous, love the lone tree. The last image has wonderful textures and sounds like a good story.
good morning Sarah ... oh you are teasing us this morning! Guess i will have to wait on the story behind that last photo till Monday? Love the image though! And your fortune is so "spot on"!! Have a great weekend and i can't wait to read about your next coffee shop chronicle!
Sarah, I see a photo essay in the works. Your find No. 3 today with a recent photo of yours - the little house/cottage - edited in a similar style - keep collecting these and write a story for us. Really love your perspective. I'm catching up on the Coffee House Chronicles!
The long straight dirt/gravel country road looks very inviting and adventurous! Looking forward to your next Coffee Shop Chronicles! I love reading your stories...I hope you will be writing a book.
that last photo is the best...but I am a rust/junk girl...and though others may laugh off chinese fortunes, I find that they can be prophetic...
I love that last photo!! I have a portion of a roof from a building that my husband, my son, and I tore down. It's full of nails and I adore it. Just have no idea what to do with it. :)
Love the hydrangeas and the road find, gorgeous editing, Sarah !
And your fortune ... wow, could it be more obvious !
Enjoy the weekend,
Sylvia
I love your finds. Especially number 5 since we are not supposed to do that, right? :)
SEE??? I'm not the only one impatient for the next Coffee Shop Chronicle! :-)
Wonderful finds, Sarah, from first to last. I love that gravel road...and the beautiful tree, with that tiny farm/barn in the background. Looks like a painting...and a story.
everything looks so pretty.
Lovely finds, but somehow #5 is my favorite. I can't put my finger on why, but it just jumps out at me.
Good wisdom from the fortune cookies, especially the second one! I love the tree by the side of the country road - and beautiful processing!
Ok-that's cray cray that you each found those fortunes in your cookies! Crazy I tell ya. I've often wanted to take a picture of our poles and the 1000's of staples from people. Great finds my friend
Always love an empty road.
