5 Random Friday Finds

Find No. 1

I found that I am getting use to the off-white walls instead of the eggplant purple.

Find No. 2
Before

After
I found that spending money on home projects never ends. Even though the chairs are here and the library shelves are here, we have found that we have room for one more library bookcase, so why not fill the whole wall. Goodness knows we have enough books to fill the shelves. So maybe by the end of the summer this project will be done.

Find No. 3

I found that I am really loving my new Pottery Barn shelves that hubby put up this weekend. The display is a work in progress and will continue to evolve. Love being able to use some of my photo props for it though.

Find No. 4

Mallory found us a new shrimp recipe to make on the grill Grilled Pesto Shrimp Skewers, enjoyed with roasted asparagus and Warm, Roasted Baby Potato Salad with Crispy Bacon, Caramelized Red Onions and Warm Bacon Vinaigrette. Happy Memorial Day meal.

Find No. 5

It has started we are now attending the weddings of our friends' children. It was a beautiful day for a wedding.

I love the Pottery Barn bookshelves. They are really cool. Your prawn skewers look delicious. I'm sure I'd enjoy the combination of flavours with pesto and prawns. Hope you had a lovely day at the wedding. You and your husband look great in the photo. All the best, Bonny

Such a joy to see a picture of you and your husband - looking so elegant and ready for the wedding season. I always enjoy your Friday Finds, but today especially. Your off-white walls look beautiful, and I hope you will find, as I have, that white is wonderful. When you have as many photo props as we all have, white is great, because it goes with everything! Those display shelves are perfect - and your collections really reflect you in such a genuine way. Your meal looks delicious, too - shrimp are my favorite.

I love your finds! I especially love the cute couple. How can our kids and their friends be old enough to get married? Wasn't I just standing out side the Kindergarten door waiting for school to get out? Thanks for sharing.

The remodel looks great. I love the chairs you picked and those are pretty cool shelves. That meal looked and sounded delicious. Also great to see your photo. Doesn't it make you feel (older) though when your friends kids are getting married.

The off white wall looks great! I bet the room feels bigger too. The shelves are a perfect place to display your props. I am feeling older now that kids are having kids, graduating college and getting married. I guess it happens to the best of us. :)

I love your new library wall - somehow the bookcases make the whole room appear - well, roomier - besides, I LOVE bookcases! :-) the pottery barn shelves are great, it's a wonderful way to have an ever evolving display - probably part of the fun. YUM to the shrimp skewers! Yep - we seem to be at that age where another round of weddings and then probably baby showers are on the horizon...

Great post! And great home project. I'm currently in the bathroom makeover...just as soon as the "home for the summer" daughter gets out of there, I may actually get to finish it. Great shelves, and I want that library piece! Aloha
