5 Random Friday Finds

Find No. 1

We found a great new place for breakfast on Saturday mornings. Their egg scrambles are the best.

Find No. 2

I found this lovely sticky note message from my husband.

Find No. 3

I found this great artistic graffiti wall while out exploring this week.

Find No. 4

This is what you will find on my nightstand this week. I just finished The Fault In Our Stars. It was wonderful.

Find No. 5

This week's new recipe: Healthy Baked Fish Sticks with Lemon Caper Sauce. Find the recipe here.
The only comment I have is that I am not a big fan of the Old Bay Seasoning, so I will leave that out next time. Otherwise really good, along with roasted fingerling potatoes. Kind of like healthy fish and chips.

What a sweet note! The fish sticks look awesome - and I love that mural. The funky farm is triggering some sort of memory that I'm going to need to google. Was it an old 70s song? Or maybe a saying?

Your post made my stomach growl! I am pinning your fish recipe so I can try it. I saw the book, The Fault in Our Stars at the bookstore but my reading list is already so long I'll be in my 80's before I can get to it! Enjoyed your post, especially the photos.

Your husband is very sweet! It is those simple things that mean so much...
I have The Fault In Our Stars, but haven't read it. I will have to get to that one soon. Shooting With Soul looks good too, as does that breakfast, Yum.
Have a great weekend!

Now that is what I call graffiti with talent. I miss visiting the library - better than with a Kindle because rather than the hassle of "borrowing" one book at a time, I could pick up a garden variety of books to read at my leasure.

I'm reading your blog and wishing we could go out for breakfast together. Your finds are my favorite ones - those little opportunities that reside near home that set the stage for a special day - every day. I will try the recipe and check out the books you suggest (the library is one of my favorite places). Your photography enriches both your life and mine. Thank you.
