I found a scatter picking, blueberry throwing girl in the u-pick blueberry field.
Find No. 2
I found some lovely rusty bolts on a bridge at Van Raalte Farm last week Friday.

I found a lovely little tug boat named Martha in Lake Macatawa.

We found just enough time before my girl heads back to college to squeeze in a trip to Captain Sundae for ice cream. A small Tommy Turtle sundae for me and a Salty Dog sundae for my girl.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had some fun with your girl before she heads back to college. :) I love the rust bolt. That little green/blue stuff growing on it makes it all the more interesting, the DOF and the dark green in the background all come together to make one great shot. The ice cream looks yummy too. I remember watching you take the photo of the rusty bolts, love the way you edited it. The book Serendipity is on on my to read list. Laughed at the title of the Nora Ephron book. Great finds. Knoeww you will be missing M as she returns to school. In TC right now. Thought of you as we were driving thorough the Mission Penninsula.

ReplyDeleteIt is nice that you got to spend so much time with your daughter but I know you must feel the pinch now of her having to return to school...you both have beautiful memories though...especially those ice cream Sundae's...also love the book shelf...we share several books there...enjoy.

Seeing the world through your pictures, I can imagine you at work - seeking out the defining moment, the best angle, or the view that says it all. I've read many of the books in your stack, and that sundae looks like heaven on earth!
